Celebrating Successful Outcomes
Our hospital rewards employees who excel in their daily work. At HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Huntington, we enjoy recognizing our outstanding employees. Quarterly and annually, we select a recipient for the Outstanding Employee Achievement Award. Our 2010 Outstanding Employee Achievement Award winner was Director of Pharmacy Jason Strow. Jason was also the recipient of the Regional Outstanding Employee Achievement Award. In 2011, Director of Plant Operations Shane Carter was the recipient of the Outstanding Employee Achievement Award. We are very proud to have several members of our staff to attain the distinction of becoming a CRRN® (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse). Our CRRN’s are Mary Hardiman, Claudia Lyons, and Karen Smith.We also take time to celebrate the individual disciplines and their contributions to our success. Our hospital celebrates numerous days of recognition such as Rehab Week, Doctor’s Day, Nurse’s Week, Physical Therapists Month, Occupational Therapists Month, Speech Therapists Month, Environmental Services Week, Nutritional Services Week, Safety Week and HIPAA Week.
