Mike Zuliani
Chief Executive Officer
Mike was named chief executive officer of HealthSouth Huntington in 2007. He has held numerous leadership positions in healthcare throughout his career including medical/surgery and not for profit. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Marshall University in 1986 and a master’s degree in hospital and healthcare administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1990. Mike was born and raised in Huntington.
Timothy Saxe, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Saxe was named medical director of HealthSouth Huntington in February 2011 and has been on the medical staff at HealthSouth since 1994. He is a graduate of West Virginia University Medical School and is board certified from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Saxe is also a member of the American College of Physicians and West Virginia State Medical Association.
Timothy Saxe, M.D. is an independent private practice physician whose office is located at the hospital.
Amy Marcum
Director of Marketing Operations
Amy has been with HealthSouth Huntington since 2008 and was named director of marketing operations in November 2014. She has nine years of experience in health care marketing and patient evaluation. She is a graduate of Marshall University.
Lisa Bragg
Controller
Lisa was named controller of HealthSouth in November 2013. She has over 15 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant, with most of her experience being in the health care industry. She is a member of the Health Care Financial Management Association, the West Virginia Society of CPA's, and the American Institute of CPA's. She is a graduate of Marshall University. Lisa is a native of West Virginia and enjoys working with the state residents.
Kim Burcham, RN
Director of Quality and Risk Management
Kim was named the quality improvement coordinator for HealthSouth Huntington in September 2004 and has worked at HealthSouth since 1989. She is a 1982 graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Huntington, West Virginia.
Lisa Caldwell, MSN, RN
Chief Nursing Officer
Lisa was named chief nursing officer at HealthSouth of Huntington in March 2015. She earned her RN from St. Mary’s School of Nursing and her MSN from Bellarmine University. She is a member of the WV Nursing Association (WVNA), the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the Association of Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists, Green Belt certified in Lean/Six Sigma and an accredited case manager.She brings 24 years of healthcare experience to HealthSouth.Teresa Caserta
Human Resources Director
Teresa was named human resources director of HealthSouth Huntington in December 2014. She has over 20 years experience in the human resources field, with most of her experience being in the health care industry. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Professionals and holds both a PHR and SHRM-CP designation. She attended Marshall University and is a native of West Virginia.
Thelma Lansang
PPS Coordinator
Thelma was named PPS Coordinator in August 2012. She has more than 16 years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory practitioner and as a registered nurse. She had held leadership roles both in the clinical laboratory and nursing. She has been with HealthSouth since June 2010. She earned her bachelor’s degree in medical technology from St Louis University, Philippines in 1988 and her associate degree in nursing from SWVCTC in May 2007. She has been a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC) since April 2011.
Miranda Tussey
Director of Case Management
Miranda was named director of case management of HealthSouth Huntington in November 2014. She has over 18 years of social work and case management experience in the health care industry. She is a member of the American Case Management Association and a graduate of the University of Kentucky.
Kristy Wolfe
Director of Therapy Operations
Kristy has been with HealthSouth Huntington since 2008. She has 20 years of experience as an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certified speech language pathologist and 14 years as a therapy director. Kristy also has experience in skilled nursing/long term care, acute care, home health, outpatient therapy and public schools. She earned a master's degree in communication disorders from Marshall University in 1992.
